CQC assessment score for adult social care

Higher is better. One of the measures behind the adult social care score; councils are listed by their rank on it alone, which is not their overall rank. The median of the 130 is 63.9%.

CQC's independent assessment of how the council delivers its Care Act duties: the nine quality-statement scores (1-4) as a percentage of the maximum. 25-38 inadequate, 39-62 requires improvement, 63-87 good, 88+ outstanding. Assessments were published between 2024 and 2026, so their dates differ by council.
